Hello lovelies!
I love Valentines’ Day because all the stores come out with the cutest themed clothing and accessories!
I am not really a red person myself, I do appreciate it but with my colouring it just really doesn’t flatter me that well. I tend to gear more towards maroon as far as the red family is concerned. Anyway point being; pale pink is usually my choice pick for Valentines Day.
So here are the 14 things that have inspired me this Valentines Day.
Hearts, blushes, pale pinks, chokers, lace, ruffles.

Every Valentines’ Day we go to my parents for dinner and chocolate fondue curtesy of my Father 🙂
What are you all doing for Valentines Day?
Let me know in the comments below!

Our Home for the Holidays

Hey everyone!
I hope you all have enjoyed yourselves this holiday season! It has been forever since I have posted but I really wanted to give you guys a peak of the house and show you a little about how I decorate for the Christmas season. 🙂
Ever since I was little my favourite part about Christmas was helping my Mother decorate the house and the tree. I like to keep things classic and subtle with greenery and silver accents.

All the garlands I picked up at either Michaels or Canadian Tire. The tree skirt, most of my basic silver ball ornaments, black lantern, and pine cone ornaments are from Canadian Tire.
The silver reindeer, the candle sticks, and the white table runner for the piano are from Winners.
The reindeer wreath holder, the small green tree and the pine cone lights are from Superstore.
The outside wreath, the small mercury glass candle holders, and the small white tree on my piano are from Homesense.
The wreath hanging from the reindeer holder is from Michaels.

So I hope you guys like this! I’m sorry I haven’t posted in forever. Between working on the house, getting ready for the Holidays, and Cam I find I rarely have time to work on the blog, but I am still going to try and post as often as I can 🙂

I hope you all have a safe and happy New Year!

I am lovinggggg all of these things. Grey is such a beautiful neutral. Everything from chunky knits, accessories, to home décor I am obsessed.

Hey loves!
I loveeeee high boots. I got these on sale from Nordstrom a year or so ago and I have been in obsessed ever since. I linked them in case you want to try to hunt them down, but I looked and everywhere seems to be sold out of them. Butttt I did link a very similar more affordable pair from Spring. 🙂
I love adding a floppy hat to any outfit. I feel like it just adds instant fabulous and it’s super cute for Fall. I saw this hat from Joe Fresh when I was supposed to be grocery shopping the other day,…
I just feel in love with the colour but it’s $29!
I love olive green and because I have hazel eyes it really brings out the green in them but I just feel like that’s too expensive 😦
What do you guys think?
Should I splurge on it?
I feel like I just can’t justify it, maybe if I got grey I would feel better about it? Ahhh I don’t know. Let me know what you guys think!

As always thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope everyone has a good Monday!

Leather jacket: old but similar here and here | Sweater: Forever21 (similar one here) | Shirt: Vero Moda | Jeans: H&M | Shoes: Keds | Sunglasses: Aldo

Happy Wednesday everyone!
I know it has been foreverrrr since I have posted but I have really just been putting all my time into the new house. But, I am telling myself that I need to make time for the blog because I really enjoy blogging and I miss you guys!

So I thought this would be a good post to do because I am literally wearing so many what I would call “staples”
Jeans, leather jacket, Runners, basic hoodie
My style is very,…. basic, am I a basic bitch? hahahaha
No I just really enjoy classic good quality versatile pieces; that I know I can use and incorporate throughout my wardrobe. I don’t like buying things thinking I will only wear it once.

So I hope you guys like this!
I couldn’t find the link for the exact hoodie I am wearing but I found a similar one that is also from Forever21 🙂

Thanks for stopping by !

Hey guys!

I cannot believe how long it’s been since I have done a blog post! I just feel like every spare second I have I have either been packing, un-packing, or cleaning!
We have officially moved into our new home though and things are starting to wind down a little 🙂
I am going to try and start posting regularly again but thank you so much for your support and understanding! xo
I love plaid flannels for the Fall! They are so cozy and super easy to add as a layer under a leather jacket. This one is older but I love the colours in it for Fall. I linked a couple others that I love so check them out if you’re interested!
Being a first-time home buyer, I am feeling a little overwhelmed with all the things that go along with having a house. Keeping things tidy, getting dinner on the table, looking after Cam and trying to remember to look after myself too ( I’m constantly forgetting to eat because I’m thinking about Cam ) I gets to be a lot and I’m trying to tell myself that the dishes can wait but I’m finding it a little hard.
Normal I’m sure, yes?
Anyway I am happy and I feel super lucky to have such a lovely little home for my little family.
So I hope you guys liked this, A little outfit and life update, let me know if you have any tips on how to be a super mom! haha
Thanks for stopping by,

The house needs some work but with Luke and his Dad in renovations they are the perfect men for the job! Not sure exactly when everything will be taking place but I’ll keep you guys posted. This also means that there are a lot of home décor posts in the future so I’m pretty excited about that 🙂
Anyway Here’s this look that I loveeeeeee. I love these slouchy pants from the Gap; they are super comfortable and totally versatile. And this tan is a nice transition colour for Fall. These shoes…………….. I just love them. They go with EVERYTHING! They come in a bunch of fun colours too if you guys are interested 🙂
So I hope you guys liked this little update and outfit post,

Happy Friday Loves!
I have been seeing so many beautiful blush toned things for Fall and I am lovingggg it!
I feel like sometimes Fall can be very muted with neutrals and dark tones, but I think these subtle hints of pink can really help to bring life to any Fall outfit that you feel is a little dull. Everything from outerwear to knits to accessories to makeup! Pale pinks are so pretty and I find are really flattering no matter what your skin tone.
So I hope you guys liked this!
And as always thanks so much for stopping by!

Not just your basic tee

Shirt: Noisy May | Pants: old but similar here and here | Shoes: Steve Madden | Sunglasses: old but love these and these

Happy Monday everyone!

I am in LOVE with this tee. I love how it brings a basic white tee to the next level and makes it fab with the asymmetrical V hem in the front. This has been my go-to dinner outfit pretty much since I got this top. Best part? It’s on sale 🙂
it’s on sale at The Bay for $16.25 right now (I linked it) and it also comes in olive green. The material is so dreamy and thick I love it; such a good quality tee.
I have also been loving these Steve Maddens that I picked up earlier this month (I have a problem). You have probably seen me obsessing over these on my Instagram. They are pretty high, but I love them. I like how you can literally wear them with anything without looking too dressy. I feel like I needed a heel that I could just casually throw on and not worry about. These are totally them!
So I hope you guys liked this!
Comment down below if you follow me on Instagram and I’ll be sure to follow back! 😀
