Here are my May favourites! Read more for all the details xo
1. Full Lash Bloom by Cover Girl
I don’t have very big eyelashes, at all. They are fair and small and you really can’t see them unless I put mascara on. With that being said I also Don’t like the look of clumps, AT ALL. This mascara is perfect for natural looking, everyday lashes. It doesn’t clump; the brush separates all your lashes and just evenly coats them. It doesn’t make your lashes brittle and gross. It doesn’t make your lashes go BOOM by any means, but for everyday just natural looking lashes this is your guy. It says that it is ophthalmologically tested and safe for contact lens wearers. I buy this one in dark brown because it looks more natural on my fair skin. If I’m going out in the evening though I wear black mascara, makes ’em pop 😉
2. Brow Stylist Definer by L’Oréal
This is my ride-or-die brow product. I haven’t stopped using it since I got it and I am obsessed. *DUPE ALERT* This looks EXACTLY like the brow wiz. Same retractable stick, some spoolie on the end… I have swatched the brow wiz many a time, but I just didn’t feel like forking out the money for a brow product. I’d rather spend my money on a nice foundation, or eyeshadow palette, brows are meh to me, kinda boring.
It glides on so smooth and effortlessly, doesn’t chalk up or ball up. The fine tip end is nice because my brows are super thin and tiny, I naturally just have very small brows. So it’s nice because I can just shape and fill mine in quickly without worrying about making them look like two little brown caterpillars.
I love the spoolie on the end, once I’ve drawn mine in I use it to blend it and brush through them, to make them look more natural.
If you’re in the market for a brow product, try this one out!
3.Rimmel’s Lasting Finish Lipstick By Kate Moss
When it comes to lipsticks I love me a good nude. And the formula for this lipstick is amazing. It goes on so smooth and creamy, and it doesn’t cake to your lips. The smell is subtle too, I don’t mind it. Almost like vanilla? Anyway it’s part of Kate Moss’ Nude Collection line. She has 4 shades of nudes; This is 042, the second lightest. I found the first one was a little too nude for my liking, this one has more pink in it and I like that. Not to mention the packaging is adorable. How can you go wrong?
4. Clinique Moisture Surge Intense
I have tried a lot of moisturizers; having dry and sensitive skin it’s hard to find one that works well with my skin but doesn’t break me out as well. Clinique has my number. I use their entire three step face system, (comment down below if that’s something you’d want me to post about?) and this is included! I use this morning and night, after I wash my face. In the morning when I wake up after having used this the night before my face is SO soft, and plump and dewy, so healthy looking! I feel like this stuff not only moisturizes but it makes my skin look and feel so healthy. It is decently expensive, but how I see it I don’t mind splurging a little when it comes to my skincare or my face, especially when it benefits me so much. If you’re not sure or you want to check it out just go on over and ask for a sample to take home! You’ll fall in love 🙂
5. Maybelline Master Precise Skinny Gel Pencil Liner
This gel pencil liner is awesome. The tip is super teenie tiny and I love the automatic twist top. I use this to tight line my upper lash line, and in my upper and lower water line. You can pretty much use this for whatever. It doesn’t smudge off or rub off. It stays put and there really isn’t much else to say about this… It’s affordable drugstore. I have mine in Sharp Brown.
6. L’Oréal Lumi Cushion
Honestly I am so in love with this… My last post was all about my special obsession with this pretty little foundation cushion compact. Check it out for all the details and why I love it so much!
7. Physician’s Formula Warm Nudes Shimmer Strip
I did a review on this, I’ve really been loving it for my highlight and my inner corners of the eyes this month. For all the details on it and why I love it so much here’s the link to that blog post:
